FAQs

What is the standard MDCAT aggregate formula?

The standard formula is 10% SSC (Matric or O-Level equivalence) plus 40% HSSC (FSc or A-Level equivalence) plus 50% MDCAT test score.

Can O-Level and A-Level students use this calculator?

Yes. Use your IBCC SSC equivalence percentage in place of Matric percentage, and your IBCC HSSC equivalence percentage in place of FSc percentage.

Do all universities use the same MDCAT formula?

Most public medical colleges follow the standard PMDC-aligned formula, but always confirm the exact weightage with your target university or admitting body before relying on this estimate.
